It’s been modified to allow machines to make it, by adding tons of chemicals that make it withstand kneading faster, baking quicker lasting on the shelf for months and a bunch of other factors that only increase profits for few remaining big corps that own it all.

Fuck factory breads, we could do it with smaller bakeries with wheat, water, yeast, sugar, and salt if we wanted to pay for it.
