I’m surprised they found a single screen shot of that movie without lens flare for the thumbnail

The lens flair is right in the middle of the image

Even after an assistant director told Farrell that he couldn’t work in his condition, the actor remained optimistic, saying: “Just get me six Pacifico Cervezas and a pack of 20 Marlboro Reds.”

I’m intrigued with him specifically saying “a pack of 20 [cigarettes],” because all packs of cigarettes come with 20. Is this an Irish/European thing that I (as an American) don’t understand?

I understand the confusion. When that film was made they did packs of 10 in the uk.

Yeah. In Europe they only come 19 to a pack. Unless they're Pall Mall. Those came 21 to a pack.

I can’t say I blame Cruise. That must have been maddening.

I am amazed Spielberg put up with that.

Yep Colin Farrell really wasn't nearly as big as Cruise so IDKY he'd tolerate it. I wonder if this kind of thing is why Farrell didn't reach the heights he could have done

Wasn’t nearly?

He wasn’t even remotely close to cruises fame now or then.

Yes it's a British phrase, saying he wasn't nearly as big is saying he wasn't remotely as big
