The living but also fossil fish!

The Coelacanth comes from a different lineage than most of the fish that dominate the sea today. The way a Coelacanth uses it fins is unusual as the bone structure and thus swimming mechanics are different than other fish. It is worth watching a video of them swimming because it looks so different, this documentary has some good Coelacanth footage!
