I don't want to agree to all of their cookies to read the article. Is this yet another IV doc that used his own sperm?

[–] porcoesphino@mander.xyz 22 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Yeah, I downvoted for not having enough context. Dropping a clickbait title and nothing else is poor form

[–] seitzer@piefed.social 10 points 1 day ago (1 children)

It's the curse of lemmy/piefed at the moment. Low effort posts to pump up numbers.

Don't get me startet on the newest trend to change the original titel to make it sound even more bonkers. That should be banned in every single community asap.

Be the change you want to see?

[–] porcoesphino@mander.xyz 6 points 1 day ago (1 children)

What specifically are you suggesting?

[–] AmidFuror@fedia.io 2 points 1 day ago (1 children)

That people post interesting articles without changing the titles rather than complain about what other people are doing.

[–] porcoesphino@mander.xyz 1 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Agreed it's important to model behaviour. Even if each of us are adding lots of interesting articles with unchanged titles it seems pretty important to also say click bait with misleading titles aren't appropriate. Or if they are appropriate here, anyone know some moderators or a community that finds them unreasonable?

Yep, we can do both.

Yes, in each of the 7 visits he told her to wait 10-15 minutes on the bed while he would go take the semen. I'm guessing freshly extracted, not frozen

There are too many instances of this to keep track of. They need a better vetting process.

[–] stoy@lemmy.zip 21 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Yep, that is the gist of it.

[–] Railcar8095@lemmy.world 17 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Yep, that is the ~~gist~~ jizz of it.

they were told the donor sperm would come from a resident in the university’s medical school

Technically the truth

[–] atro_city@fedia.io 9 points 1 day ago

I'm kinda disappointed it was a sperm donor article again. My immediate thought was a family doctor hiding a misdiagnosis for decades or working with some pharmaceutical company to hide the effects of an agricultural product or something.

What is wrong with these weirdos. It is quite bizarre. It’s not like they don’t have access to the bank of the product. It must be some kinda twisted urge somehow populate their gene. Quite irrational, esp for those who spent so many years studying to be in the medical profession.

a breeding fetish, its a fetish. much like musk. there was a svu episode, where john stamos played a lawyer who had a breeding fetish who impregnated all these women, with no care what happens after they are born.

The rational mind is a recent invention. Urges driven by a billion years of evolution may not be socially acceptable today, but they are anything but "twisted."
