Sicily .... is that you? ...

or Isle of Man ... is that you? ....

[–] railway692@piefed.zip 19 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

What was the rationale for triple legs?

Were the flag designers secretly leg fetishists or were they out and proud?

[–] ininewcrow@lemmy.ca 22 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

The three 'legs' or points of the island

Sicily is shaped like a triangle, so its a reference to the three points of the island .... and the Isle of Man's flag is a bit more complicated history but it may be historical reference to the Sicilian flag.

If you look at the point of an island and your first thought is 'that's a naked leg', you have a leg kink.

No judgment.

But that's what you are.

Japanese Parliament Trying To Stop Shinichi Yokoyama refers to a viral image of Japanese parliament members physically attempting to stop Judicial Affairs Committee Chairman Shinichi Yokoyama from calling for a vote on the country's immigration reform bill. The photograph has become a popular reaction image and image macro that is generally used to joke about someone expressing an unpopular opinion or doing something those around them don't want them to do. It arguably best known as a popular 'Would' Reaction Image. Origin

On December 8th, 2018, the Japanese parliament passed a controversial and hotly debated immigration reform bill[1] that allowed foreign workers a path to Japanese citizenship. During the vote, Japan's opposition party leaders attempted to physically stop Judicial Affairs Committee Chairman Shinichi Yokoyama from calling for a vote, leading to a physical altercation between members of the ruling and opposition parties. Photos of the altercation were published in various news outlets.

that's Sinichi Takegawa and he was attempting to spoil the end of Demon Slayer for the whole of Japan. Luckily everyone jumped him and they were able to wrestle the mic away from him before he gave anything away.

If he was successful the GDP of Japan would have dropped by 800% overnight.

She was leggy. All legs, actually. 12, maybe 13 legs in her eldritch form. I asked if she'd like to go for a walk with me. She glanced my way and rolled here eyes at me. I rolled them back to her.

[–] ghost9@lemmy.world 8 points 2 weeks ago

She's got legs for days.

Sometimes it divides, sometimes it unites, sometimes she speaks words of warning, sometimes he advises on appetite. Its prophesies are confusion, their whispers confound.

This should be an early game boss fight in Silent Hill. Just a katamari of those leg monster things.
