Recommendations for where to commission short graphic design work? (lemmy.world)

I am wanting to commission someone to make two logo/icon images for personal use. I have two devices that I have named after some anime mecha, and I am wanting to have a three or four color SVG icon created (similar to how the head icons in Super Smash Brothers Ultimare) for each that would allow me to 3D print the icon and stick it on the respective device.

Where would be a good place to go to pay someone for that kind of work?

Is fiverr still a thing? I had luck there years ago, but I don't know if it is still around and legitimate.

There are some talented designers on the various mastodon instances. I've had luck contacting artists through there for commish.

One of my artist friends mentioned a place called Vgen, and while it’s mostly for vtubers it looks like you can commission icons/logos.

They recommended it based on respect for creators while also allowing fair pricing and negotiation. Might be worth a look.
