Rules:

Report them, block them, and live a happier life than they do. We see too many slapfights that boil down to "Mom! He's bugging me!" and "I'm not touching you!" Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.
- Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
- No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning
We ask that the users report any comment or post that violate the rules, to use critical thinking when reading, posting or commenting. Users that post off-topic spam, advocate violence, have multiple comments or posts removed, weaponize reports or violate the code of conduct will be banned.
All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.

I mean you try living with MAGA threats and hate for a long time, and you'll understand why these guys resign. The public officials should serve the american people, but not in a way that could harm them or their family.

Sure, I guess in a general sense. If it was more direct I'm not sure how that would toll on me, if I would be unable to sleep because I'm worried someone is going to break in my home and hurt me or my loved ones. And it's not like there public servants have much of a choice, either they follow along with the corruption, get fired, or resign. There isn't an outcome where they stay and make a change for the better within the system.

USA is a totalitarian state now, ruled by a government with zero regard for the law, it's only a matter of time before people begin to fall out of windows like in Russia.
But apparently a lot of Americans are fine with that? The country and people that used to stand for democracy, freedom and human rights, is becoming a fascist regime, that supports Russia and is undermining NATO and economic and democratic allies. And is even blatantly disregarding constitutional rights for the people living in USA.
I wonder if there is a point where this madness ends, but unfortunately I can't see it. 😐
