As a mechanic, I see nothing wrong.

[–] slaneesh_is_right@lemmy.org 4 points 1 week ago (1 children)

I don't think the hood closes and the hamster looks like he's out of alignment

[–] Lemmyoutofhere@lemmy.ca 1 points 1 week ago

Just need a bigger hammer.

Possibly.

Trucks and SUVs come with capybara, mini cars with guinea pigs.

That would explain the occasional weird squealing sound.

We need to jurassic park that thing to get more power : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Josephoartigasia

Or just bigger cars I guess.

Trumpet, keg, piano keys...yep, this all checks out.

[–] umbraroze@slrpnk.net 8 points 1 week ago (1 children)

And the piano keys are wrong. So yeah, if the point is that cartoonists should research visual references better, that point is truly hammered home.

maybe it's one of them shitty pianos. you know, keytars

"This engine is woke"

[–] CustardFist@feddit.nl 5 points 1 week ago

Pretty accurate, but the hamster wheel should be lower near the crankshaft. 😉

Gears. It's all gears. Jerry Smith taught me that

  • empty 12V battery
  • oil filter (?) somewhere among the things
  • the gasket!
  • blinker fluid intake

Can they even find the latch handle under the dash?

[–] IndustryStandard@lemmy.world 0 points 1 week ago

Now that is a woke engine.

Basic maintenance is something that every car owner should know before they haul a 3000+ lb pile of steel down the road. Not knowing the basics of how your car works is a great way to destroy your engine, break your suspension, or get you or someone else killed when your brakes inevitably fail because you never check your pads.

Edit: Okay if you don't own a car, that's fair. But if that changes, please learn how do simple things like maintain tire pressure, change all your fluids (oil, transmission fluid, coolant, diff fluid, etc.), and replace brake pads. All simple stuff that needs to be done, and can be done using nothing but YouTube, some basic tools, and an hour or two of your time.

Some people simply don't own or drive cars.

I live in a place where I didn't need my drivers licence until my late 30s, and barely use it.

[–] HugeNerd@lemmy.ca 3 points 1 week ago

I feel that applies to every machine more complex than a can opener.
