They're putting a special about Kirk in Kimmel's timeslot.

The time for strongly worded letters is probably over.

It's definitely time to cancel your Disney plus subscription and boycott anything Marvel, Disney, ESPN, Pixar, Star Wars, ABC etc.

I'm sorry but anyone who didn't do this like six months ago is unintelligent

Seriously? Lol. I'm sure all the Kimmel fans can't wait to see that.

I don't think Kimmel should be removed for free speech, but I do think he's boring af and shouldn't have a comedic talk show. He sucks as a host and as a comedian.

It is an interesting thing that applies to the right, and a good illustration of why Tucker Carlson is understandably concerned about silencing the personalities on the left.

As a generic late show host, he was fairly middle of the road in a languishing media product (late night shows). The political climate gives him a value he wouldn't otherwise have. If Trump had never been elected and they just casually announced that Kimmel's show would be discontinued after this season, the general reaction would be 'meh', with some disappointed fans to be sure, but no huge outpouring of support.

That cuts both ways, conservative media nut jobs audience are there because of the 'leftist' media. Their schtick of 'owning the libs' and general ranting about libs isn't so engaging when the left is denied a platform. Then you can just get 'generic blonde lady on fox news' for the smooth rolling propaganda and cranky white guy ranting doesn't have the same hold.

I'm not following along with much of any of that, sorry. I'm in Europe.
