Do these people really believe the truth will never come out? History will remeber them as the fascist facilitators they are.
They are banking at being in power long enough for it not to matter. Also they know if liberals ever get back in power they'll probably let it go.
As if they care. Has the threat of a hangover ever kept anybody from getting drunk? They are drunk on power rn
but at the same time there's a nagging voice reminding them that soon it will all be over and they try to silence it by having yet another drink
I'm sure this is how tyrannical regimes have sustained themselves for way longer than they should. It's fascinating to see it unfolding in real time.
