They won’t be back. The South Koreans were treated atrociously.

[–] slaneesh_is_right@lemmy.org 15 points 5 days ago (1 children)

I can't wait for those huge repercussions.

[–] unexposedhazard@discuss.tchncs.de 6 points 4 days ago (1 children)

They are already happening. SK is not gonna invest any more in the US im pretty sure.

[–] sunzu2@thebrainbin.org 4 points 4 days ago (1 children)

im pretty sure.

Im half joking. Obviously they still play a massive role and will continue to do so, but you also cant possibly deny that there is a drastic ongoing shift away from relying on US resources, software and weapons. Already multiple EU countries have shifted from US made weapons systems to EU made ones. The movement away from the US cloud industry already started before 2025, but its getting accelerated significantly due to Trump. The US economy will lose out on hundreds of billions of dollars in international contracts because of Trump and those things wont be reversed even if Trump doesnt become a long term dictator.

No doubt, Americans will be paying the price for this clown leadership for generations...

Along with two botched wars, Gaza genocide and mishandling of ukraine.

us is in structural decline and leadership doesn't seem to care to do anything about it.

[–] sunzu2@thebrainbin.org 10 points 5 days ago (2 children)

Lol... This is how normal Americans are treated pretty regularly by the police.

I really don't get all this faux outrage. This is America baby.

[–] HasturInYellow@lemmy.world 17 points 5 days ago (2 children)

Faux outrage..? What a sad life you lead that you believe that or feel the need to lie about it

[–] sunzu2@thebrainbin.org 6 points 5 days ago (1 children)

This is normal us law enforcement behavior... The only reason this is national news is due to politics

I guarantee you there is an American citizen is currently being brutalized by police and nobody gives a fuck.

[–] Bebopalouie@lemmy.ca 8 points 5 days ago (1 children)

All I ever see posted by americans is “someone needs to say or do something”

One day they might figure out that they themselves are they are the ones that are supposed to be doing something.

[–] sunzu2@thebrainbin.org 6 points 5 days ago (1 children)

God forbid a peasant is told to take direct action on anything besides consuming more.

I get tarred and feathered when I promote basic direct action such product substitution on here.

Learned helplessness is the MO of the modern wage slave. God forbid they actually do prowpr opposition

[–] Bebopalouie@lemmy.ca 2 points 5 days ago (1 children)

A lot of “peasants” sure did their part in WWII.

[–] sunzu2@thebrainbin.org 3 points 5 days ago (1 children)

And because regime was scared of them... They threw them a bone.

Now that is over.

Owners kept the spoils and grand children of people who fought in WW2 are being driven into poverty across western world.

Also, peasants who fought the wars has no choice in the matter esp om eastern front.

[–] Bebopalouie@lemmy.ca 1 points 5 days ago* (last edited 5 days ago)

Regular everyday people flew to Europe not knowing what to expect other than death. They went anyway. Why? To rid the world of fascism. Go back to your twitch or YouTube for now, they will be along for you shortly.

I know, both my parents were in WWII. I heard about it first hand on the daily until I was a teen.

Edit typo

[–] WizardofFrobozz@lemmy.ca 2 points 4 days ago (1 children)

If it wasn't faux outrage there would be people fighting back.

[–] GreenKnight23@lemmy.world 1 points 4 days ago

get going little Canadian troll! you can do it!

[–] whosepoopisonmybuttocks@sh.itjust.works 9 points 5 days ago (1 children)

You almost sound proud to be subjugated.

[–] sunzu2@thebrainbin.org 2 points 5 days ago

You must be new around here 🤭

[–] Diplomjodler3@lemmy.world 46 points 5 days ago (1 children)

Let's not go there. 'tis a silly place.

[–] glorkon@lemmy.world 8 points 5 days ago* (last edited 5 days ago)

looks at Las Vegas

It's only a model.

[–] BilboBargains@lemmy.world 20 points 5 days ago

Hilarious own goal by the ICE goons. Step one, invite foreign investment. Step two, when the foreign investment arrives brutalise the bewildered engineering team and send them home before the work is finished. Step three, plead with the S Korean prime minister that they all look the same shade of khaki, how are we supposed to know what a technical expert looks like?

And they've decided to continue opening the factory in Georgia in two or three months.

What a disappointing way to let the fash know you'll be a good client race for them.

[–] inclementimmigrant@lemmy.world 4 points 4 days ago (1 children)

I mean not surprising? Money talks and there's a massive amount of free speech to be had and a lot of free speech sunk in there already.

They just have to open and then never set foot back there again, just take the profit and run until the ROI is met and let the factory fall where it may.

[–] sunzu2@thebrainbin.org 1 points 4 days ago

just take the profit and run until the ROI is met and let the factory fall where it may.

as long as it keep printing it will keep running... aint nobody abandoning an high quality, income producing asset over some clown politics.

this is business and it is about making money, a few cracked eggs don't make a difference.

[–] Dragonstaff@leminal.space 0 points 4 days ago* (last edited 4 days ago) (1 children)

Calling people a "client race" because you don't agree with a company is disgusting.

It's not like Hyundai is going to walk away from a $12 billion plant to make a point, but even if your point wasn't asinine, that's still pretty fucked up.

[–] Jaysyn@lemmy.world 2 points 4 days ago* (last edited 4 days ago)

That's exactly what this is.

Fash abuses the shit out of them & then sees who comes back, hat in hand.

If you're too ignorant to see that, that's your stunning lack of pattern recognition, and not my problem.

[–] varnia@lemmy.blahaj.zone 12 points 5 days ago (2 children)

I hope they can sue for this injustice. WTF is wrong with you ppl in US to let that happen without any serious protest or concquences?

[–] sunzu2@thebrainbin.org 6 points 5 days ago (1 children)

Who are they sueing?

This is us government and they can legally do this. This is pretty normal behavior for us law enforcement.

Just look up traffic stops on YouTube.

They are lucky they didn't get their asses beat on the spot by the round eyes.

[–] HasturInYellow@lemmy.world 4 points 5 days ago (1 children)

The police are lucky we don't string them up from light posts.

[–] sunzu2@thebrainbin.org 2 points 5 days ago (1 children)

Easy there chief... You are glowing

[–] HasturInYellow@lemmy.world 1 points 4 days ago (1 children)

Sorry. Just angry. I'm sure there are some cops who don't beat their wives.

[–] sunzu2@thebrainbin.org 2 points 4 days ago

I'm sure there are some cops who don't beat their wives.

I am sure there are decent cops but but don't stay decent OR cop for long.

[–] TubularTittyFrog@lemmy.world 4 points 5 days ago

unless it happens to a wealthy citizen, nobody cares.

[–] homesweethomeMrL@lemmy.world 12 points 5 days ago (1 children)

"Their Gestapo are assholes"

Yeah. They uh. Yes. And they're getting more money than any other government entity for a long time. Because Harris loves the genocide.

[–] 0_o7@lemmy.dbzer0.com 1 points 4 days ago (1 children)

She woulda won landslide if she had kept her humanity. But yeah, uh, had to keep that military complex and AIPAC funds rolling.

"Cuz fuck those kids, don't matter for shit. We're trying to make a lot of them by banning abortions right here."

Yes, the bitch and you lot loved genocide, if it had worked in her favor. But now that it didn't, wE tOlD yOu sO.

Get fuck outta here with your pearl clutching. Take it as karma and try not to support genocide next time? But I don't expect much from a country built on one.

[–] homesweethomeMrL@lemmy.world 2 points 4 days ago

She woulda won landslide if she had kept her humanity.

Yeah, uh, she should have kept her humanity. She's not human now.

wE tOlD yOu sO.

Do you know which outcome you're living in? Because you should really rethink that comment.

Take it as karma and try not to support genocide next time? But I don't expect much from a country built on one.

What country do you live in? Stay out of our politics. Or as you almost said correctly "Get fuck outta here".

[–] DarrinBrunner@lemmy.world 10 points 5 days ago

"So now they just want to take their toys and go home? Pussies." ~ Half the country.

[–] Jhex@lemmy.world 4 points 4 days ago

I'd say something like "how embarrassing for America" but, they elected a convicted felon, rapist and pedophile as president so...

[–] OmegaLemmy@discuss.online 1 points 4 days ago

One could only wonder how much worse it is in the concentration camps. Oh wait, you don't have to wonder, it is much much worse.
