Breadtube if it didn't suck.

Post videos you genuinely enjoy and want to share, duh. Celebrate the diversity of interests shared by chapochatters by posting a deep dive into Venetian kelp farming, I dunno. Also media criticism, bite-sized versions of left-wing theory, all the stuff you expected. But I am curious about that kelp farming thing now that you mentioned it.

Low effort / spam videos might be removed, especially weeb content.

There is a cytube that you can paste videos into and watch with whoever happens to be around. It's open submission unless there's something important to commandeer it with at the time.

A weekly watch party happens every Saturday (Sunday down under), with video nominations Saturday-Monday, voting Monday-Thursday. See the pin for whatever stage it's currently in.

This is the good kind of 3 hour YouTube video about something you think is silly. Its actually pretty engrossing. It goes into how people who make really high tier troll levels put the work in to make you the Wile E Coyote or Elmer Fudd in a Looney Tunes sketch and then also goes into it being dadaist game design and into how the whole thing is acrually kinda leftist in spirit, didnt expect it to be remotely politcsl but it hits at the end. Its good slop folks!

I love stuff like this and it actually gets better as it goes. By the time its showing old dead kennedys live footage and comparing troll levels to punk rock, you are totally seeing the point

I saw the post and thought, "Is this a video about Defender's Troll Guide?" Then I noticed it was 3 hours, and came back and read your explanation. And sure enough, he's actually in the video!

I had a weird phase of watching a lot of Carl videos for some reason, having never played Mario Maker. I think partially, at least, for the little weird mishmash community of game design, humor, and genuine artistry in his/the troll community and the greater Mario Maker community. It's such an interesting game as purely a condensation of community mapping that is found in other games. I actually very recently rewatched a few Carl videos that I remembered purely for nostalgia, but it is a really cool niche in the world. I'll finish the video and give more thoughts if I have them, but thanks for sharing!

Ive only played a bit of Mario Maker even though I have a copy, but might boot it up and try some of these levels out. I found making levels an absolute pain due to all the Nintendo quirk they put in, dont make the design suite into too much of a game or it'll suck to work with. Thst and once I got started I realized I have no ideas at all for Mario levels. I do like some Mario in general and am pretty good at the first one and 3 and well above average for the other 2d ones as well. I speedrun the first smb causally for personal bests and love watching Mario speedrun stuff
