I'm more against the "this is so relatable" memes without a punchline.

Damn I kindof feel a certain way.

Does the bottom image seem… off… to anyone else? There are no veins visible in his eyes, the light is reflecting differently in each eye, the background is a suspicious off-white, the model and his attire are very physically generic and featureless, and there’s a very high sharpness and focus without any depth, so it raised some intuitive AI gen red flags for me. I was not able to find any matches with several different reverse image searches, and I tried several sites for detecting AI gen images and most suggested that it was a real photograph but one site wholly disagreed.

I found your comment valuable. Recognizing AI is a skill we all need to practice.

This is how the light fades from the eyes of the memeists.

We will end up hiding in the refuges of deepfried and dank memes from site 19

[–] Reginald_T_Biter@lemmy.world 2 points 2 days ago

If it comes to that, god help us all.

It is ai generated, the whole thing is

[–] s@piefed.world 4 points 2 days ago (1 children)

That is ridiculously lazy and a form of learned helplessness

90% of memes these days: animal in a situation

I always assume that phrase means "I'm horny af" and thus far it's always fit pretty well in the context, so I'm just rolling with it.

And I always feel a certain way 😏

I call that TikTok face, it’s the modern take on edginess.
