The way he went "Well, that's besides the point," the moment someone pointed out conservatives have been doing this for ages lmao. Idk how people continuously engage in someone that is ragebaiting them.

This is always how conservatives have hamstrung liberals. Conservatives don’t believe in the liberal rules of free expression and engagement, but they understand that liberals bind themselves by those rules. So they can chide and cow liberals into self-imposing while freely ignoring those rules.

Well, well, well, if you all hadn't been so mean to racists and sex pests on social media, we could simply parry these people by saying "free speech", which would make them see the error of their ways

The rules say to use archive.is so you might be right anyways. And archives are always good.

Under communism we will take away certain persons' keyboards along with their toothbrushes.

For conservatives, getting someone fired for their views used to mean murdering them. They have simply adopted the tools of their enemy these days, because that shit does not quite fly right now, though society is about to flip on it again.

I agree that the conservatives will prevail in that arena (the ruling ideas are the ideas of the ruling class) but progressives didn't start the cancel contest, and I disagree with the second half, that it's not worth entering at all.

Employment is always going to trend towards being precarious, and at the whim of the employer. This can be solved by having our own economic structures, as a dual power. Can't get fired for your opinions if your company supports your opinions.
