I had one of those weeks I have sometimes where I just absolutely obsess over one particular band.

This past week, it was Holy Fawn
https://holyfawn.bandcamp.com/track/drag-me-into-the-woods

I did a lot of driving, absolutely blasting their music for hours on end.

Death Spells is such a great album. Dark Stone came on while I was driving this weekend and it still gives chills every time.

They are definitely in my top 3 bands.

I own probably 30 band shirts, and have them on pretty regular rotation. My wardrobe consists of work clothes and band shirts.
So far the shirt compliment count goes about as follows:

Holy Fawn - 18,000,000
Myrkur - 3 (not because anyone recognized the artist, they just liked the tree motif lol)
Rivers of Nihil - 1
Everything else - 0

It's honestly really impressive how much attention either of the 2 HF shirts I have gets me. Like I'll be at a coffee shop at 6am and the barista will be like "Sick shirt" before I am even awake enough to know what century it is.
I've seen them live a couple times and it is always a great show, I am always looking forward to the next one.

Last week I had an urge to listen to The Prodigy and ended up finding this. The Prodigy - Breathe - Zeds Dead Remix

I've also been listening to the following:

Rawtekk - Snowflakes - Rawtekk Neuropop VIP [DnB like]

Lantlôs - Lake Fantasy [Progressive Metal]

Green Day - Revolution Radio [Pop Punk]

Aunt Cynthia's Cabin - Which One Is The Jellyfish? [Psychedelic Rock]

Arlo Parks - Hope [Bedroom Pop]

and last but not least. Jesse Welles - War Isn't Murder [Folk, Protest Music]

I don't remember where I discovered Lantlos, but you're the only other person I have ever seen mention them. Such great music!

Also coming back to edit: I kept thinking "The Prodigy" looked familiar... God, I haven't listened to them in like 15 years. As soon as I saw the crabs on the album cover it all came rushing back hahaha. I had a friend in Jr. High who lent me a bunch of CD's, and that was one of them, I probably still have the original files I ripped sitting around somewhere. As my music taste evolved, that album stuck around and would occasionally pop up in shuffle, completely disparate from what came before and after.

I discovered Lantlos via my Spotify discovery weekly playlist. I like their style. Their dream state like sound infused with progressive metal, is a great sound. I like to space out my liked songs by the same artist, so I can listen to them in order of discovery or time of add. So I don't add more than one song of each artist typically until I have 5-8 songs before them. That being said, I definitely plan on coming back to them in the near future!

I still have an old fabric CD holder from like early 2000s that has albums my older brothers obtained and "obtained" from back then. A lot of it was Pop Punk, Punk Rock and Metal, which I ended up growing my music taste around. I still remember hearing a few songs from The Prodigy's The Fat of the Land album back in the late 90s. My brothers would often play Breathe, Firestarter and Fuel My Fire. Good stuff.

Finally got around to checking out the new Deftones album and quite enjoyed it. It's not their best (because nothing will ever beat White Pony), but I stand by the claim that they don't have any bad albums.

Deftones - private music
