This sentence would seriously benefit from a pair of S's. The worlds governments are trying to take absolute control. The world government is a boogeyman for nutjob conspiracy theorists.

I have to say the excuse that parents are too good damned stupid to turn on child lock on kids devices to lock down the Internet is infuriating.

Parents should be insulted. The childless should be insulted.

I value my privacy and freedom, I’m outraged

[–] fluffykittycat@slrpnk.net 2 points 5 days ago

As am I. One important thing we need to do is refuse to allow them to control the framing of the arguement

AFAIK, everybody is insulted by it. How would one know anyway? Look at the heavily censored social media?

There was that one opinion poll where they went around asking everyone if they approve of keeping children safe.

Eheh, now I don’t even know what to think about, the people in power there have gone completely crazy...

Who is the guy in the picture? I'm missing context.

Sweaty gamer meme. I think the government is supposed to be the gamer? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jb9Ebe_rA8M&t=0
