Reminds me of when the DPRK (maybe even Kim Jong Un himself?) stated that if they were attacked that they would defend themselves, it was interpreted by the news at the time that this was a threat. At this point I think everyone's just treating the government like it's a sentient natural disaster whose victims should cooperate with, cause otherwise they're just being mean.

I know it doesn't make any sense, but try to think of the troops as being our rabid dogs; if you kill our rabid dogs OBVIOUSLY we're going to be upset!
