”Mass immigration” continues to be a reliable way to identify a fascist hitler-detector

[–] GamersOfTheWorld@hexbear.net 38 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

Yeah, I oppose mass migration...

The mass migration of SSettlers onto native land. amerikkka isntrael kkkanada aus-delenda-est

[–] GamersOfTheWorld@hexbear.net 27 points 3 weeks ago

But seriously, isn't it always just projection?

[–] FunkyStuff@hexbear.net 31 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

Actually I commend those who hold portraits of Khamenei or Nasrallah.

[–] EllenKelly@hexbear.net 14 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

If you did that in so-called australia, you would be arrested, either holding a picture, or commending someone for doing so

[–] glimmer_twin@hexbear.net 4 points 3 weeks ago

Someone was holding a portrait of Khamenei at the front of the harbour bridge protest and didn’t get arrested (there were no arrests that day). It was all over the papers trying to smear the protests the next day.

I fucking hate this shit these fascists pull. THE MEDIA where calling Palestine marches "anti-Jew" and whatnot. Fuck offff you liberal fucks.

[–] SmithrunHills@hexbear.net 29 points 3 weeks ago

Holy false dichotomy lmao

Aren't ISIS and Israel allies? Meanwhile, anti-immigration is one of many positions that a neo-nazi takes. Actual brain-melting take

Who is even the audience for this comment?

[–] TraschcanOfIdeology@hexbear.net 34 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

I firmly believe that 90% of the comments on reddit are not really for communication, but as a way for the poster to feel good about themselves or smart or witty or whatever. Any call and response doesn't really read as a conversation, but like talking to a facsimile of a human.

Maybe that's why redditors like LLM so much.

[–] Soot@hexbear.net 18 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

A huge portion of Reddit comments (and even larger portion of posts) are already bots/LLMs

Racists who want to dogwhistle about their racism.

[–] Shaleesh@hexbear.net 19 points 3 weeks ago* (last edited 3 weeks ago)

The kind of guy who is at the critical threshold of racism wherein they're racist enough to be down with a race riot, but not with neo-nazis or outright genocide. They also don't know anything about the middle east but that was a given.

[–] Dort_Owl@hexbear.net 10 points 3 weeks ago

Idiots, idk

“Guys, we need to be more charitable to fascists!”

No we don’t. No one is ever charitable with my ideology. We’re just the bad guys because middle school said so, no further nuance.

If nazis are marching under the australian flag, it only exemplifies that it's a nazi symbol

also that event was announced on august 8th, make of that what you will

[–] Damarcusart@hexbear.net 14 points 3 weeks ago

It was also organised by actual neo-nazi groups, so that's kind of a dead giveaway.

[–] leafperson@hexbear.net 19 points 3 weeks ago

Nah they're right, we should condemn them because they are bigots who have consistently voted against their stated interests (Claim to hate immigration yet vote for the bombing other countries and displacing millions parties), ohh or maybe we should condemn them because the organiser for their Sydney protest openly states that they believe "Australian values" and "white values" are interchangeable terms.

[–] SevenSkalls@hexbear.net 16 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

Has anyone seen an Isis flag at a protest before? I haven't.

[–] WeedReference420@hexbear.net 5 points 2 weeks ago

Never, and even if anyone did it would almost certainly be a Zionist doing a blacks-rule

[–] purpleworm@hexbear.net 14 points 3 weeks ago

There are totally supporters of Nasrallah, but I think there are probably more "pro Palestine" people with actual swastikas (who are completely rejected by the rest) than ISIS flags. It's ridiculous to associate the two, and also to associate them with the Ayatollah when Iran has been at war with ISIS for some time but whatever. I think this can only make sense in their mind because people already accuse Hamas of regularly doing things that it hasn't done maybe ever but people buy it because ISIS did it and all these Muslim militants are the same ig.

I'm always left wondering whether these people are primarily seeking to do Nazi apologia or whether they're primarily in the business of discrediting positions they can't attack on their own merits by calling them Nazis.

[–] SkingradGuard@hexbear.net 11 points 3 weeks ago

It's the same b.s. they always pull. "Oh how can I be a nazi? I'm not literally from 1939 Germany and actually the leftists are the real Nazis. It's just common sense :smuglord: "

[–] Mindfury@hexbear.net 10 points 3 weeks ago

every now and then, I am reminded that too many people remain unbeaten with a crowbar
