I firmly believe that 90% of the comments on reddit are not really for communication, but as a way for the poster to feel good about themselves or smart or witty or whatever. Any call and response doesn't really read as a conversation, but like talking to a facsimile of a human.
Maybe that's why redditors like LLM so much.
A huge portion of Reddit comments (and even larger portion of posts) are already bots/LLMs
