Her arms got tired from slapping the shit out of him.
Probably tried to kill him within the first hour, but the little monster was impossible to catch until starvation slowed him down.
His super-canine "puppy power" level of strength was the only truly supernatural phenomenon that was demonstrated during the series (at least initially) primary run.
Season 1 episode 2 "Hassle in the Castle" Shaggy conjures a sandwich and mustard out of thin air with no remarks about it being on a wire and the ghost occupied elsewhere.
If you are high af sometimes you will be eating something but you won't remember where it came from. Like they cut from the top deck of the ship to the galley and wtf the sandwich is already made? Thats a stoner not remembering that he made a sandwich and then hallucinating that the dog leaned through a porthole and stole it
Without a doubt, she was chasing after Scrappy starting the second she realized they were trapped in the mountains, and he valiantly evaded her until hunger and exhaustion set in.
