Great news for linux gamers. Hopefully we will soon be able to have FSR3->4 even without optiscaler.

Proton GE already had an FSR upgrade option. Anybody know how that worked until now?

Proton already had PROTON_FSR4_UPGRADE=1 though?

Been using it on my RX 9070 XT on CachyOS for months now

More options is always better. I may be wrong, but I would much rather use an SDK as-intended and fine tune my integration with an external dependency (FSR or otherwise) rather than to connect my software to a DLL, which I understand is more like a static, pre-built blob.

Let's hope CS2 switches to FSR4. More FPS in this game is better.
