This is terror. ICE is a terrorist organization. That is why they must cover their faces. No one admits to being a terrorist.

What's more likely to cause me harm today, ICE or ISIS?

isis is restricted to a region in the ME, so no threat from there. ice is everywhere in the us.

Terrorism is the use of violence or the threat of violence to accomplish political, social, or ideological goals. This is the dictionary definition of terrorism.

[–] AmbitiousProcess@piefed.social 27 points 2 days ago

Even ICE's own website states this. They quite literally define themselves as terrorists if you compare their actions to their words.

An unintended side effect of all this bullshit I have noticed: there are waaaay more pickup trucks with unsafe, unsecured loads than there used to be. I have had my car damaged from things flying out of truck beds twice this year.

People are clearly fucking off from the hardware store parking lot as quickly as possible. I totally understand, these poor people are fearing for their lives. I hate all of this so much.

Couldn't that just be explained with how people seemed to forget how to drive after covid?

No, it was a sharp and sudden change after Trump.

End qualified immunity needs to end yesterday.

[–] AlecSadler@lemmy.blahaj.zone 3 points 2 days ago

We can end it ourselves by going on the offensive.

This should count as manslaughter.
