Respectful debate is totally OK, criticizing a product is fine, but being verbally abusive will not be tolerated.

Terrifying to think about for me or kids. Hopefully, it is a promotion and an engineering exercise to develop the tech and showboat the possible. Performance bike and car manufacturers have done this for decades to enhance their brand and to sell their road legal cars or bikes. Personally I find the idea of eScooters terrifying, but will ride my bike, which when I think about it offers almost zero protection either.
With proper infra and responsible drivers, yeah, sure.

That being said I find it condescending that personal transport vehicles are limited in power, but cars are not.
Why could people not inherently abide by rules on a bicycling path if they can do so on the road with a car that can do 300 mph?
