Don't share it here, there are other places to find it. Discussion of piracy is fine.
We don't want us moderators or the admins of lemmy.world to get in trouble for linking to piracy. Therefore, any link to piracy will be removed. Discussion of it is of course allowed.

That worked. But using the https://freedomtobuy.games/ links kept giving me "something went wrong". So ^ this link is the way to do it.
Plot twist - what Collective Shout wanted all along was to get these specific games for free (and more importantly - without official transactions to prove they've bought them)
Fuck Google and its fcking recaptcha with its fcking traffic lights, fcking crosswalks, fcking hydrants, fcking bicycles and fcking CARS! FCK!
This is the rare case where at no point was a clear coherent statement ever made, and yet everybody knew exactly what your frustrated ranting mumbles meant.
I'm for this because I want those games. But let's talk strategy. Didn't GoG just set the market value of those games to zero? Weren't they already hurt by the censorship? Wouldn't it be better to just give them a fair market to sell on?
They probably cant do this unilaterally. Maybe gog paid for those copies and they are limited in quantity.
For the record, the only reason I redeemed the bundle was to protest censorship! Really, I will not have any kind of fun or pleasure!
The bundle is mid at best. You don't even have to try and convince anyone.
Yeah, my hopes weren't to high, but I'll give it a try this weekend... just to support the cause, you know.
I think 4 of those games (including Postal) look very decent/promising, others either not my style or looking too generic/slop.

I have to say since this whole anti porn in games thing has happened, I've ironically exposed myself to more porn games.
Before I wouldn't imagine playing the games. Ever since the itch unban, I've tried a few games on itch.io to see what the fuss was about and got absolutely hooked on Queens Brothel - to the point where I've paid for the full version on Patreon. And now I've got these games on my gog library.
If the Christian brothers and sisters at Collective Shout wanted less people exposed to porn games, lol. lmao even.
That is how their efforts usually work out.
They are quite adept at shitting and falling back in it.

Keep in mind it's the same company that tweeted a dog whistle to Gamer gate and had a few insensitive transphobic faux pas: https://www.polygon.com/2018/10/23/18015434/gog-twitter-wontbeerased-hashtag/.
I could believe the latter ones were potentially accidental but I don't know how tweeting the exact starting date of Gamer gate with the phrase "R.I.P games journalism" can be anything but intentional.
Maybe they've gotten better since then. I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt.

FYI, clicking the "Claim now!" button under a game will still claim the whole bundle
i now own a bunch of porn games cuz i wanted to try Postal 2 -_-
edit: it is thankfully possible to hide games from your library, tho unfortunately heroic games launcher does not care 😖
Heroic also has an option to hide games.

Word of warning, clicking "Claim" on any of these games claims them all. I clicked claim on Postal 2 and got a warning message that I never thought to read, but now I have "Lust Theory" and other timeless classics in my GoG library.
Just wanted to put this out there.
man i don't even care. I claimed them all, i'm almost definitely never going to play any of these games, but i think its pretty cool what gog is doing here.
My profile is private anyway so it doesn't matter lol

Of the list, I would say Lust Theory is worth a look.
You are groundhogs daying through high school/college trying to bang every single woman in your life. Animations are... sufficient and I do kind of like that any of the more fucked up stuff is almost always followed up with "and then you were kicked so hard in the balls you died" although it would be nice if they weren't critical path for progression. And it is pretty hilarious that the game lets you define your relationship to the various ladies you live with... but it is still pretty clearly coded for incest of some form which leads to hilarity like "It is so morally wrong that you are having sex with your Live In Janitor"... which I guess would actually be really morally wrong...
But yeah. Mostly the bundle is the bottom of the barrel. Or stuff that has been around so long it is mostly just a meme for how bad porn games are (house party).
I haven't played a porn game since I was a teen in highschool. 20-odd years ago. Now I own a whole mess of the things.
