That was my guess. Could go with Godzilla minus two.
Can't wait for the parody: Godzilla Minus Godzilla. It's just 90 minutes of random skylines and upward angles of sky scrapers while people just run in terror away from nothing.

I never caught the first one, but the title got my attention. So it sounds like Godzilla has RSVP'ed to some social event with a "plus one" but Godzilla's companion has flaked out at the last minute? Mortifying!
Need to watch this again. Remember loving it, weirdly don't remember much about it.
I remember it.
But I also remember the twist at the end not being much of a twist because I am German and could read the sign.
First movie was great until it wast, than it got really dumb.
