We always knew there was a One Ring of Power. But did you know in Tolkien’s original manuscript, there was another ring that was also powerful and not shared to the dwarves, elves, or men? It was the Cock Ring of Power. Sméagol wore that, so his penis stayed invisible and this is why, canonically, we could never see his penis.

Unfortunately the publishers didn’t like that so they forced Tolkien to remove it. But he kept that part a secret in the published book we know today, since an invisible penis did not detract from the story that much.

Peter Jackson was aware of this history, so he ensured we also didn’t see it in his movies.
