Im not trying to defend the Catholic Church here. It is an institution that as far as I can tell have been right on precisely one issue in 1000 years (Eugenics, they were opposed). But the last crusade was in like the 17th century, even if you're only counting crusades in the middle east we're in the 14th or 15h century.

I don't think an actual crusading army would be a humanitarian force, I don't believe i said they would be.
