Why is he doing cubism. Of all the art syles. Cubism is all about showing multiple perspectives of the subject. You disassemble the subject and reassemble them in a way where you show them from multiple angles, features are shown in the ideal angle deliberately even if it does not fit within the prescribed norm of depicting a person. That's the opposite of his thought process, and you can kinda see him struggling with that since most of the repetitive features are just repeated for the sake of "genre convention". But the glass textured translucent subject is a nice touch to a cubist art style.

Soo... Why cubism?

Cubism seems to be his real passion. But instead of leading the Third Reich following his own rejection from art school, he created stalin-garrison .

So what you're telling me is that painting hillary butt is his equivalent of tracing postcards?

Honestly if he paints like this and was rejected from art school that school fucked up. I've seen worse art on a technical levek hanging in galleries.

i think the "rejected from art school" line is a dog whistle reference to Hitler.

[–] Keld@hexbear.net 11 points 3 months ago (1 children)

Hence my note about tracing postcards. Which was Hitlers art business

[–] huf@hexbear.net 15 points 3 months ago

Why is anyone surprised by this? It has always been obvious that, besides the his terrible politics and profoundly stupid attempts at satire, the dude can really draw
