Investing in air conditioning was one of the better decisions of my past self.

I'm starting to consider it. Do you have it installed to your house with a proper unit, or a portable one you can use in your room?

I have four installed units, which have plenty of cooling power to keep the house nice and cool. On sunny summer days our solar panels produce excess electricity anyway, so cooling the house comes free.

Not great, Bob

We're staying inside with the kids today. Got the curtains drawn in an attempt to keep the house cool. I always struggle mentally with not being outside and making the most of the sun but I'd just be a sweaty mess and don't want the kids to burn!

Appallingly. The old truck I spent most of the day in is basically all window, and now I am basically all crispy. 3/10, do not recommend

I couldn’t sleep. I can’t think. I can barely exist. I need to do my chores and cook for the kids i feel like im just complaining but that’s how🫣

Could be worse. Keeping the curtains shut all day protected me from the worst of it, and it's cooling down now thank fuck

£25 window heat shield. Sticks with water to the glass. Difference of night and day in terms if heat:

Poorly. I'm currently praying for an army of tigers.

I've just finished work and am sat in my lounge in front of a fan with the blinds drawn, chugging water and wishing it would cool down a little bit 😂

Come on up to sweden. We've got rain, wind, maybe some occasional sunshine but don't bet on it.

Rub it in why don't you!

decently enough lmao. stayed indoors most of the day, got blackout blinds for my room so it's nice and cool. got an air conditioner that you put ice into and it does a really good job cooling things down

Good day for laundry! Otherwise, staying sheltered indoors.

We’re lucky enough to have aircon upstairs if things get too spicy, but just keeping the curtains drawn and the windows closed is working for now.

I'm melting.... meeeeelting! Oh what a world!

Windows open from 6-8am. Then closed along with curtains since. Seems to have worked well today. Though I've just had to relocate downstairs until that hot, yellow bastard goes away.
