The first two are part of the reason I can't sleep at nighttime. It's finally quiet, no distractions, I can finally sit down and focus on that project, and... why's the sun coming up?!
Fortunately I'm retired so I can sleep whenever I want. I typically sleep through the mornings and am awake all afternoon, evening, and night.
The seed - it’s a small thing, but it grows - gradually replacing the original things you were doing. It then consumes you. You can’t stop it. You can’t do anything about it.
It can be someone just mentioning a random thing, a snippet of a memory, or even just seeing something can cause this.
I hate it.
I try to think of it like having a rambunctious friend who takes me on inconveniencing but entertaining adventures
This has made me mess up a lot of home work.
