The gray fur may commes from a Russian Blue, while still being considered a "domestic shorthair". That race is just a way for a vet to say "I have no idea", due to not corresponding to all the race traits, without looking like a fool. 😂

Mine was one too, here is a picture near his litter sister.

Both are domestic shorthair, but from different fathers.

Have you had your kitty checked out by a vet? One dilated pupil like that can indicate a serious condition. PetMD even suggests it's ER- level concerning. I hope kitty is ok.

We have and he’s ok. He was a stray for years so not sure what happened to him. But he’s actually very sweet and normal, contrary to this picture.
