Moderator Pinning Rules:

Moderators are strictly prohibited from promoting/endorsing/pinning individual mutual aid requests (especially those of their own) as this creates unfair post visibility and could therefore benefit more from that than the standard user. Moderators caught engaging in this behavior will be swiftly removed from the moderator board with extreme prejudice.

Moderators are allowed to pin and crosspost donation requests for large scope issues such as natural disaster relief funds and bail funds ((Example)[https://hexbear.net/post/16574) along with other crowd or moderator-compiled informational resources pertaining to donating or volunteering (Example), so long as the utmost due diligence is done prior to endorsement, especially in the case of directing people to donate to non-profit organizations.

I’m a proud trans woman and refugee currently living in Gorom Settlement Camp in South Sudan. I fled Uganda after the anti-LGBTQ+ bill passed, and now I’m struggling to survive in the camp with a few of my trans sisters. Life here is extremely hard we face constant hunger, live in fear, and have very limited access to healthcare. I’m also living with HIV and trying to stay on treatment.

My good friend who's on the ground in the occupied territories asked me to share out this request. They are in direct contact with the family in the West Bank. Ramzi Jamal Rabie, 23, has been stuck in Israeli prisons for two years with no charges, no trial, and no family visits. He needs to raise $3,000 in legal fees by next month for a court appearance that may secure his freedom.
