Yo dawg I heard you like acceleration so I calculated the acceleration of your acceleration

If you derive deeper you get snap, crackle, and pop.

Mph would actually be slightly above km/h according to my thought process while making this. I wanted to express that 1 m/s is way faster than 1 km/h, but seems like everyone took it as me saying m/s is just "better" lol. I think I picked a bad title.

mph is a chihuahua

[–] nebulaone@lemmy.world 12 points 2 months ago (1 children)

It's the same unit bruh. Kilo just means "[a] thousand".

[–] TonyTonyChopper@mander.xyz 9 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Unfortunately an hour is not a thousand seconds, it's 3.6 thousand.

km/s and m/s is the same, as well as km/h and m/h

What the ISO says?

[–] LMurch@thelemmy.club 6 points 2 months ago

I always considered km/h the cool one. We'd visit Canada (from the US) and city speed limits would be like 70. Hells yeah

[–] Bgugi@lemmy.world 5 points 2 months ago

Coherent units best units.

Ah, reminds me of high school physics and always trying to remember whether I needed to multiply or divide by 3.6.

[–] sneezycat@sopuli.xyz 3 points 2 months ago

That's why I love conversion factors, never had to doubt again. 1 m/s * km/1000m * 3600s/h = 3.6km/h

Km*s^-1 * Mpc or km/s/Mpc idk I'm not astrophysicist

[–] NigelFrobisher@aussie.zone 3 points 2 months ago

[–] Jumi@lemmy.world 2 points 2 months ago

[–] double_quack@lemm.ee 2 points 2 months ago (1 children)
