It’s cold comfort and it doesn’t help keep you safe but I do think it’s worth remembering these people are always projecting their own unresolved angst and gender insecurities. I’m sure you’ve heard this before but it’s unbelievable how true this.

I'm really sorry and disgusted you are experiencing this. Weak people who can't control or worry they will lose control of themselves seek to bully and control everyone else. It's really that simple. Please know you are seen, loved and supported.
People just suck. Not every person, and not all the time, but far too many people are just horrible. They don't care about what's true, they don't care who gets hurt.
Those were people are scum, unworthy or acknowledgement or respect. Don’t let the opinions of pathetic creatures like them get you down.
