A better world is out there, being built, but the old world is struggling to just die already. That’s what I tell myself at least. Idk. Been more vocal and aggressive in support so it gets through that it’s not acceptable to punch down- but the levels of bullshit people are on is wild - but I do think the number of assholes is going down. You’re supported unconditionally by lots of people, and growing, while the cruelty itself and the systems that perpetuate it lose support by the day. I’m sorry that the thrashing of the dying patriarchy is painful - we’re all smothering this fucker as best as we can and one day soon will dance on its grave together
