I truly appreciate that John Williamsβ Superman theme is being used. More than costumes or actors, that theme exemplifies Superman.

I'm not a fan of these longer three minute trailers, but I couldn't stop watching, this looks like fun. At least everything is out of context and I have no idea what's going on!
Same. Looks promising!
Hey now this doesn't look too bad. Loving how bright everything is, big departure from Snyder's style.
Kinda feels like Snyder dove too deep in the moral exploration of Superman's actions, and Gunn is coming like "we can still explore those themes, but also let's include live action Krypto"
I'm here for it.
Yeah, I'm into this. Still not feeling the costume, but I'm very ready for Supes to be charming and fun again.
Incidentally, if you missed it, go check out My Adventures with Superman. It got lost in the shuffle, and that was a shame.
I mean, yeah, I know, 78 as well, but you know about that one.
If you haven't seen it, watch the Chris Reeve version.
Even if you have seen it. I recently watched Superman: The Movie (1978), and found it SO much more enjoyable. Reeve does an amazing job.
I just realized you meant "if you haven't seen the Reeve version, go watch it," and not "if you've never seen Superman, start with the Reeve version"

Honestly, it's hard to top the 1940's cartoons. Hand painted rotoscopes and great music.

I'm still pissed that the Justice League is in this without any sign of Batman, but this trailer does make it look a lot more enticing. Or maybe they at least killed him off already or something.
But that green lantern hand jumping up from the ground was pretty awesome ngl
There is so much I like about this. I like that Clark doesn't just look like Superman with glasses. It feels like they're addressing the big questions of his "humanity" and focusing on his role as a protector not a fighter. This version of Jonathan Kent looks promising (I really hated the Man of Steel version) and I think without the Kents he doesn't have the character that Superman requires. That's what makes him human. It feels like a comic in all the right ways.
James Gunn's credit is good with me too. Super, Guardians, Suicide Squad, Peace Maker, and Creature Commandos are all great IMO. He writes relationships so well.
Is this another origin movie?
Seeing how he seems to be living with Lois, or at least in a relationship with her, I'm gonna say no.
Ok I was super skeptical before, but this looks DOPE AF, and I am super excited!
I won't forgive DC if this isn't good
This actually looks pretty good. I don't give a single fuck about capeshit, least of all Superman, but i'll catch this streaming for sure.
