Practically a dead community

[–] lugal@sopuli.xyz 19 points 11 months ago (1 children)

The last one is a day old... the one before a year so you might be right.

I didn't want to link the one in the tankie triade

[–] ShaggySnacks@lemmy.myserv.one 4 points 11 months ago (1 children)

You can always cross-post to another community. That's what I do, the majority of my posts are just cross-posts.

[–] lugal@sopuli.xyz 1 points 11 months ago

It's not that !hydrohomies@lemmy.ml is super active either, but I might start crossposting once in a while. Thanks!

Jokes on you, I still burn my acquired digital media to BluRay discs

Disk rot is like 25 years while an SSD still doesn't have that kind of shelf life

Edit: this was the wrong thread

I love how you're still getting upvoted like "Hey, good try!"

[–] janus2@lemmy.zip 17 points 11 months ago (1 children)

[–] nailbar@sopuli.xyz 6 points 11 months ago

I was scrolling down a few posts and went "Hey! It's this one!"

Water tastes best after it has flowed through a brewery. Change my mind.

[–] Saleh@feddit.org 13 points 11 months ago (2 children)

The water that has "flown" through a brewery is typically cleaning water with caustic and detergents.

Water that has been brewed is quite famously stagnant for a few weeks as microorganisms are breaking things down and you long for their excretions.

Funghi sharts are where it’s at

[–] trollercoaster@sh.itjust.works 2 points 11 months ago

[–] sigurdtheone@lemmy.world 13 points 11 months ago

Hail Hydrate!

There is an other step.

The real adult drink is whatever the fuck you want.

[–] Onionguy@lemm.ee 8 points 11 months ago (1 children)

Especially Night water 👀

[–] GreenKnight23@lemmy.world 3 points 11 months ago

night water from the bathroom tap.

hot summer night with no AC as a kid, I almost drowned myself in the cool water from the bathroom sink.

knowing what I do now, then... I should have done it.

Metamucil is the most grown up drink. Keeps you regular.

[–] Zaraki42@lemmy.ca 7 points 11 months ago (1 children)

As a chronic kidney stone sufferer. High quality H2O is top tier.

[–] tomenzgg@midwest.social 6 points 11 months ago

I was always low-key terrified of getting kidney stones (especially as someone who never drank water). Switched to drinking nothing but water last year and it's just one of the many benefits.

At what point do you complete a full circle and go back soda?

[–] sheogorath@lemmy.world 3 points 11 months ago (1 children)

It's around 50s, I used to work with an older Japanese dude who only drink sparkling water.

[–] Knock_Knock_Lemmy_In@lemmy.world 2 points 11 months ago

Sparkling water is adults only. No kid wants to drink that.

[–] amon@lemmy.world 6 points 11 months ago (1 children)

It's simple not complicated so when it's hot just stay hydrated

[–] GreenKnight23@lemmy.world 4 points 11 months ago

I used to drink 2-3 cans of mtndew every day.

in my late 30s had some health complications and quit it cold-turkey. now I drink around 90 oz of water a day. still feel like shit, but it doesn't feel like I'm going to die every day.

if you're younger than 35 and reading this right now, stop abusing youth body. drink water, eat well, light exercise, get plenty of sleep and you can feel the same way you do now for at least another decade or more.

don't put it off, try tomorrow and the next day until something sticks.

[–] wanderwisley@lemm.ee 6 points 11 months ago

Coffee mixed with alcohol and ice…the superior adult drink.

Pepto does 5 things poorly. Better to get something that targets and actually resolves problems

[–] Engywuck@lemm.ee 1 points 11 months ago

That's so true it hurts.

[–] curiousaur@reddthat.com 1 points 11 months ago

Well then I guess I've gone full circle then haven't I?

[–] acockworkorange@mander.xyz 1 points 11 months ago

Laced with copious amounts of copium.
