Post guidelines

Title formatPost title should mirror the news source title. If you don't like the title of article, look for an alternative source instead of editorializing it.
URL formatPost URL should be the original link to the article (even if paywalled) and archived copies left in the body. It allows avoiding duplicate posts when cross-posting.
[Opinion] prefixOpinion (op-ed) articles must use [Opinion] prefix before the title. Opinion articles refer to articles that their publisher doesn't explictly endorse.
Country prefixCountry prefix can be added to the title with a separator (|, :, etc.) if the news is from a local publisher who doesn't clearly mention the country.

MODERATORS

Redditors around the world were scandalized last week after learning that a team of researchers released a swarm of AI-powered, human-impersonating bots on the “Change My View” subreddit. The large-scale experiment was designed to explore just how persuasive AI can be.

Slightly amusing because most of the active users are perhaps AI powered bots now, run by Reddit.

If that is the case, then it seems to me that this is a repeat of the locking out of third parties, similar to the api change two years ago, but now for those that use bots?

Grammar edit

It most certainly won't apply to their own bots.

Bet this backfires on them.

I bet there's already backlash from their "don't upvote" rule. They'll be hemorrhaging users like xitter soon.

If you up vote anything about Luigi Mangione they will permanently ban your account.

Ah. That no upvote rule. I've heard tell the corporate overlords don't like Luigi.

Rofl.... Oh. They're serious. Well. In that case. Rotflmfao.

Reddit will shadow ban everyone except neoliberals, facists and Russian bots

Reddit is nothing without anonymity.

Hey guys! I heard reddit has at least 3 people left. My cousin Fred, his wife Honny, and their friend Emma. I think its a threesome, but I can't prove it.

Reddit is still pretty popular

It is sad since I hear a lot of people complain about it

You have to enter a slur on occasion to maintain non-bot status.

I still need a bot to help me rewrite my comments so I can close out my account
