Alcatraz has been run as a park for the past several decades. You can catch a ferry from San Francisco and go for a tour.

It is not functional as a prison at this time.

Some PBS stations aired the movie Escape From Alcatraz shortly before this pronouncement from Trump.

Has this reject ever been to Alcatraz?

It's small and it's just ancient concrete wasting away. He'd have to tear the entire thing (a historic landmark and museum) down and rebuild it. Then it wouldn't be able to hold that many prisoners, because it's a tiny fucking island. Then it would be expensive to maintain, because it has to be serviced by boat.

There's a reason the fucking thing was shut down in the first place.

Just more word salad diarrhea coming out of this fucking loser's mouth to distract us from all the shit he's breaking.
