Besides accuracy, this has been my problem with the concept of “AI replaces google search”. That’s basically saying AI summaries replace websites. Where does the AI model get its info from? Oh yeah, websites. Sounds like a super solid plan in the long run.

I think it's polluting google maps as well. I've received wrong directions 3x in the last month.
I'm already sick of telling people irl NOT to listen to the AI overview, that it tells people to put glue on pizza and that cosmetics are edible.
This is even more frustrating than spending the previous 20 years telling people how to identify good sources.
People send me them all the time. It's infuriating.
