This is looking to be at the top of my list as a potential replacement for my OnePlus 6T. Just curious how much it'll be in the UK.

Edit: the article mentions that the 13 and 13T have 5000mAh battery, but I think they're 6000?

I used a One plus 6 until it died in my hands. Great phone.

I used a OnePlus 6 until I threw it in a moment of anger. Phone was perfect until I phoneslaughtered it in October 2024

I've had a 9 Pro and 12 since 6T and 6T is still my favourite hands down

What was it about those phones that weren't as good at the 6T?

Two things that are true about 6T but not the 9/12:

  1. It was pre-OS merge and things still felt more like vanilla Android. I still recommend it as a barebones Android experience, but if I'm asked whether there is bloat now ... I have to be honest and say that there's been persistent creep in recent years.

  2. Form factor. The smaller size sits better in the hand and pocket IMO, and I don't recall feeling (after having OnePlus 5) like I'd lost screen space.

The form factor of the 13T is what's appealing to me, plus the insane battery capacity. I feel like the 6T is already too large so I'd hate to get anything bigger.

It looks nice, hopefully it has an unlockable bootloader like other OnePlus phones and will eventually see good Linux support like the 6/6T have. The 6 and 6T are my daily drivers now with the 6 on Android and the 6T on postmarketOS until Linux can fully meet all my phone needs reliably. It looks like the 8T may soon be a usable Linux phone so I might pick one up, but I wish Linux support for brand new devices was a thing. If Magsafe compatibility includes wireless charging that's one thing I really miss with the 6/6T.

Article says phone will debut in October 2024 with snapdragon gen3. Uhhhh ...

Something isn't right about this article.

OnePlus will be releasing the OnePlus 13T next week, albeit only in China for the time being. While the company will not be officially presenting its compact flagship until April 24, it has revealed plenty of about the device on Chinese social media.

It's the 24th of April (2025), where did you see October?

In the OP, this link has wrong info:

I don't know why there are two links, but I do see that notebook check has the right information, and gsmgotech has right and wrong information.

Ah yes, now I see it.
