"The number of calories in the baked macaroni dish, which features three types of cheese, is almost 10,000 (40,000 kilojoules). "

What was the point of saying this???

Are they trying to impress the value of the loss and failing? Or did they need filler words so they can include more ads?

Seems like a new design each week. I wonder how many people worked on just design of the tickets.

This system of things, all over the world, is falling apart. Going to space might be likened to a desperate cry for sanity. But a single cry of a baby in an ocean of crying individuals all over the world is not something given much attention.

That looks exactly like my new smartphone wallpaper!! 😎

It will be interesting to see if they will be able to improve on what Brave already uses by adding certain features. The biggest problem I have with Brave's implementation is that they don't offer a panel that allows you to enable or disable individual domains while you're on a web page. If the page is broken due to ad blocking, you either have to turn it off or turn it on. You don't really have an easy choice otherwise.

If I wanted to do that, I would just stick with Brave Browser. That said, I hope that they'll be able to succeed in implementing it and in adding such a panel like ublock origin offers, because having it built-in to the browser engine would be ideal.

Don't worry, the Microsoft ~~spyware~~ telemetry will tell them what went wrong.

I've been here since. I've noticed very recently big improvements, I think mostly due to a few bot accounts sharing a lot of stuff all over. Also though, I recently switched to default the "All" channel and just filtering out the communities I don't want. It's so much more stuff I've discovered that way. Sometimes I feel like dropping reddit entirely and it likely wouldn't hurt.

Are windows full circles now? /s

It's funny to me how enormous the radius is on window corners. It's kind of hard for me to take it seriously.

Yeah, I do that.... On Deezer. 👍👍

Again? Lol

Just a heads up, Deezer has been working hard to improve their UI a great deal. It is so much less stressful to navigate than Spotify. Sound quality is also better to me. And not being forced to mix music with ad-infused podcasts is so very nice.

Reading this article, my thought was WHY ARE YOU MAKING AN ARTICLE ABOUT IT? Share on XDA and move on. LOL

Hey all,

I wanted to share a new workaround I found. TL;DR see "WORKAROUND BEGINS HERE"

Many of us are annoyed by the very limited nature of OOS launcher.

One such limitation is the number of icons you can have on the home screen: Either 4x6 or 5x6

I remembered seeing some YT videos of some iOS mods that used widgets with launchers built-in and that got me to thinking about doing this in Android.

WORKAROUND BEGINS HERE

Sure enough, I found a program that lets you make a widget launcher that even works with custom icon packs!

The free app is called Quickshort: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.atolphadev.quikshort

I have no relation to this app/dev. This app will let you put many icons inside the widget, with spacing as you desire.

STEPS:

  1. Install Quickshort and run.

  2. If you use a custom icon pack, go to Shortcut Settings in the app and choose your icon pack.

  3. From there, it is easier to create your shortcuts first, to each app.

  4. After your shortcuts are created, create a "group".

  5. Add your shorcuts to the group.

  6. There are options to adjust background transparency, remove labels, etc in the group settings.

  7. You will note there is an option at the bottom of the group page to reorder the shortcuts.

  8. Save your group and add your widget to homescreen.

A few notes:

  1. The screenshot attached is an example of what it looks like for me within OOS launcher.

  2. You'll note that the page dot is missing. That's because I'm using a wallpaper from the Backdrops app. It seems that if the wallpaper has only a tiny amount of white in the spot where that dot is, OOS launcher ignores it and doesn't turn the dot black.

  3. My icon pack, if anyone wants to know is something I made in Icon Pack Studio. It's called "Flat Clean Light". It's nothing fancy and entirely free. Search for it in Icon Pack Studio.

Enjoy!

I think this has been this way for a little while, but Breeze offers the ability to take it from the half squared/half rounded window decoration to a full rounded version. You just have to enable the thin border option in the Breeze window decoration settings. (sorry I'm not at a Linux OS right now to say exact name of the setting).

HOWEVER, I discovered that Firefox has included the option to make it's own bottom border rounded on Linux, which up until then was a sore point for KDE themes. To enable it, in Firefox about:config, turn "widget.gtk.rounded-bottom-corners.enabled" to "true" and restart Firefox.

I have no idea how long that FF setting has been there, but I'm really glad it is.

Now we have fully rounded window decorations and a proper looking DE. Thanks!!
