My father is a carpenter. I was born rolling the end of the tape, molded by it.

If you get really frustrated you can run your tongue around it. Your tongue is much more sensitive than your finger and will find the ledge. Gross though.
I pray I never reach this level of desperation.

Hey, as long as you use more than the outer circumference length of tape at once, I'd say go ahead and use your tongue.

Just run your nail in a back and forth motion along the tape and you find the edge easily.
