Dude had talked about how his dad was in the military so I always assumed he was from Okinawa and his mom was Japanese.

Well today he was talking about visiting Anchorage to see his grandma and I was like "wait, you're from Alaska?"

And he was like "did you think I was Japanese? Everyone thinks I'm fucking Japanese."

I've known this guy for almost a year...
