I’m still working through that phase in my 50’s.
When I was young and I was walking into a dark room I used to say "I know you're in there" because i was afraid there was something hiding and I thought the might revel themselves early if they throught the jig was up.
8th grade me jealous the snipers on the Lincoln Memorial had a better view of the fireworks.
