Is Elon still trying to prove he can fit in with the gamer crowd? It looks so sad, like Zucky learning martial arts to prove everyone how tough he is. Guys you don't need to fuck the planet over your teenagehood traumas, just deal with them like any other reasonable person.

Oh my god, a streamer shouldn't advertise a mediocre game to get compensation for their work? Has anyone told the Raid Shadow Legends steamers?
Man I really don't know which I despise more, Elon Musk or Ubisoft.
I'm leaning towards thinking Ubisoft is the marginally lesser evil.
(I might have my issues with Hasan directly related to his softballing the Houthis but critical support to the fucker here, easy)
This the most crazy take I've ever seen. One guy is actively dismantling the government and attempting to steer us into an Oligarchical White Nationalist Ethnostate, and the other is a video game company that overcharges and under delivers sometimes.
You are underestimating how awful the upper management/ownership of Ubisoft is. Their treatment of their employees and their attempted sexual assault cover up. Not just their shitty anti-consumer practices.
That said, I'll admit I was using a little hyperbole in comparing them to Elon Musk, at least in terms of the consequences of their actions. They're genuinely really fucking bad though.
Ubisoft sucks, yeah, absolutely, no disagreement there. It's just kinda funny to compare a video game company that makes games about dismantling governments to a guy who's actually, currently dismantling a government, hyperbole or no
Nobody is underestimating anything, they're just not comparing video game companies to THE GOVERNMENT OF THE UNITED STATES.
How is the issue here not immediately apparent?
Their treatment of their employees and their attempted sexual assault cover up. Not just their shitty anti-consumer practices.
Kay that's just the cost of doing business. Literally every company treats their employees like rungs on a ladder and would try to cover up sexual assault before addressing it. That's just business. It's still scummy, but that's the sort of scum I've come to expect from this world. It's the devil I know.
Elon is a neo-facist, and he's using his companies to accomplish his goal of normalizing fascism. They're not comparable. It actually legitimizes Elon when you compare him to them. I don't see anyone at Ubisoft ziek heil-ing twice so no one can misunderstand them. Elon's done it a few times.
Is Ubisoft trying to dismantle democracy? I'm pretty sure one here is way worse.
Who says you need to support one of them?
Both are bad in their own way.
One is a video game company and the other is a fascist who is helping to dismantle the US government. Ubisoft at its absolute worst doesn't even come a million miles close to Elon's evil.
Can someone share some context please
Hasan was paid by ubisoft to play the new Assassin's creed on stream (which he was very clear that it is a paid promotion) grummz got mad and called him a "terrorist supporter" and claimed ubisoft supports terrorism (because Hasan is middle eastern and pro-palestine). Then Elon responded to grummz with this.
Elon streamed Path of Exiles a Diablo-like online MMORPG pretending he plays often.
Everyone watching knew he didn't know a thing about the game at all showing he never played it and likely bought or paid someone to level the account for him.
Rich folk like Elon are envious of us regular/poor people. We dress better, are actually funny and do enjoyable shit. Whenever he tries to take part he comes out looking like a big fraud and a dumbass.
Grummz is a racist, sexist, transphobic, anti-woke pile of crap.
He is also behind the recently released Schedule 1 game. Don't buy it.
EDIT: Nope, I was wrong. He is still a bigot, tons of evidence for that. But he was citing Schedule 1 sales numbers and I read that it was his game. But I can't verify that anywhere so I was mistaken.
I think they're gonna pull another "Mahmoud Khalil" on Hasan Piker soon.
I doubt they care about citizenship at this point
