Congrats everyone! There is still a long way ahead and but it is a great starting point. Honestly, I've always been curious about decentralizing and digging into alternative services and the current situation has been a nice pretext to actually change things.
The most difficult part will be to keep the things going and keep Lemmy communities alive by actively posting, commenting, etc.
Personally i wish other communities related to free software were there in the top, to me this buy european thing looks like a slippery slope into nationalism

Suprised no ML community is in the top 10. Back when I joined it felt like ML was much more active than it feels now.
They haven't been that active for a while. It's usually mostly LW and the top communities of a few instances (e.g. !europe@feddit.org )
