Tesla was proudly proclaiming less than a year ago that it would be selling 20 million electric vehicles annually by 2030. Fast forward to today, and things have taken a sharp downturn. After seemingly abandoning this lofty goal mid-2024, the company has also seen its first annual sales decline in a decade. Now, Tesla’s sales are continuing to slide in several major markets, including Germany, Australia, and, of course, China.

How has he not been booted as CEO yet? If I was a shareholder I'd be pissed.

Because the board are all his bootlickers.

The board are bootlickers and family members, who are also bootlickers.

It’s the most inept, toothless board money can buy.

They will be getting sued until the whole thing is written off.

Australian here.. I saw a Tesla the other day and the owner had put a sign in the window that driving a Tesla wasn't supporting the CEO

Not only did the profit from that car allow Musk to fund Nazis, but its continued operation gives recurring revenue to Musk because he sells your data of where your Tesla goes.

Over the years I’ve seen more getting around and Melon has flipped their reputation from “oh, cool a Tesla” to “poor bugger probably didn’t realise they were supporting fascism when they bought it”.

A colleague at work has one, and they were discussing the acceleration and what not. I chimed in with "Oh, you own a swasticar?".

His face did this thing where it almost looked like it was melting, and he said "well at least it saved me some money on gas" and we moved to a different topic.

That was quite satisfying...
