I thought the charge series was meant to be their basic 'not really smart' watches?

The only hard one would be Google Maps. Wallet is just NFC and the screen. YouTube Music is just storage and Bluetooth.

Even then, I would expect Maps to operate with a cached map.

Wallet is just NFT and the screen.

NFC? Pretty sure if they incorporate NFTs as a form of payment, it'll be a whole thing.

Yeah, NFC. Stupid autocorrect.

Yeah, no thanks. My third Charge 5 in 1.5 years "randomly" died a few days ago - I'm not that gullible.

Honestly I prefer this over the pixel watch. I just need tap to pay plus health tracking.

I've had a charge 5 for a year. 1 week battery life is the best feature. I don't need all the fancy stuff other watches do. I even turn off GPS because my phone already does that.

This is kind of why I don't want to go to a smart watch.

I love my Charge 5. I'm glad Google is keeping the series going. Whenever they inevitably sunset the tiny Charge watches and start pushing the big ol' smart watches that don't work for my tiny wrists and have a bunch of features I don't care about, that's when I'm bowing out.
