Accurate. Literally the first thing Shadowheart says when you meet Karlach is fantasizing about Karlach throwing Shadowheart over her shoulder and carrying her to safety.

I've noticed that too. Apparent all the voice actors also did mocap, so this is how the actor was moving while speaking.
